    Nudibranch Hitchhiker on Sponge

Gecko and Boomer while the nudibranch I have looks similar... I do not think it is the Spanish Shawl. The Spanish Shawl has red rhinophores...mine does not. This was posted on Reef Central, and I think to date this is the best ID that matches the nudibranch I have:

    Nudibranch Hitchhiker on Sponge

I just picked up a Blue Photosynthetic Sponge (Collospongia sp.), and I found a beautiful nudibranch crawling on it after I acclimated it. I removed the nudibranch from the sponge and isolated it. I know nudis are specialized feeders, and it is probably feeding on the sponge (but I am not...

Thanks for the info guys. I took a ride out today. It's good to have another local shop to check out besides for Trop. I like to support the local shops if I can. Good marine shops are few and far between. Greg seems like a knowledgeable dude, and he has a nice store. It's still in the...

I heard a rumor that a new fish store was opening in Ocean on Route 35. I think it's supposed to be close to Tropiquarium on the other side of the highway. Anyone hear or know anything about this? I'd like to make a trip out there to check it out if it is true. If anyone has any info it would be...
