    The Soprano's

The Shield gets better each season, well worth renting or buying to get caught up on if you haven't seen the privious seasons. Soprano's have been most disappointing and the finally isn't even extended past an hour. After previews and credits it will only be about 40 min long. Sad sad sad.

    More Temperature questions

I got two 6" fans from Walmart that were $6 each. I think they were Hometrends brand that work great. I have room behind the tank where I pointed them into the back of the hood. Put them on the same timer the lights are on so they run about 12 hrs a day.

    PVC vs Tubing

Didn't know they had clear primer. I would try and order the Flex PVC/Spa Tubing from online, I bought it at lowes and I think it was 3.50 a foot. I only needed three feet and it was a must have. Good luck with whatever you decide.

    375g MONEY PIT!

Can you keep a reef tank in your yard? I think that's the only part of my house that would be big enough. I could just weed wack around it.

    Thinking of going skimmerless...

I've had a 125 that has been skimmerless for over two years now. When I had a skimmer I don't think it did much so I got rid of it. If money allowed I would have the biggest I could afford. I keep frogspawn, mushrooms, and ricordia's but havn't tried anything diffulcult. Nitrates stay mostly in...

    375g MONEY PIT!

Moved a 125 from one wall in the living room to another with me and another guy and thought my arms were going to rip off. Still had about 2" of water and 200lbs of sand in the bottom of it. Sorry to hear about your wasted trip and best of luck finding a new tank.

    Unscheduled water change.

Once you have repaired one, you try to ensure that it never happens again. At least not untill the next time.

    Clearer water

Micron bags also work well to scrub the water.

I LOVE THIS. I am going to put this above my tank.

I think that is happening to my tank right now. Is my water supose to be boiling, I cooked pasta in it last night and it's not even summer. Hooked up a fan and got the temp down to 82, 79 in the morning before the lights come on.

    sump advice

I would think that the hight would be determined by the amount of flow going through it. Im no expert and have no idea, but I went 2" on my 55 gal sump I just did.

Drill the tank or just use a HOB overflow?

Looking good, you should be much happier with the drilled tank. I have HOB and I know I would be.

    Unscheduled water change.

Not only was it not fun, but it was an expensive extra in my hobby funds.

    Unscheduled water change.

Woke up and found a small problem on Monday. Just trying to organize under my tank when I notice this.... Only about 10 gal leaked out and most of it was contained by the stand. So much for my day off. Ran out to the LFS and picked up a 55 gal tank. I had a 40L underthere but figured I could...

    Flexible PVC

Thanks for the reply. I went to lowes and picked some up today. It was a little over $3 a foot and I only needed 3ft. Waited for about 45 min for someone in plumbing then cut the thing myself only to wait another 15 min at the register for someone to go get the bar code to scan it in. I'm...
