I'm sick of killing sticks, so I'm going all softies and Zoas.
Up for grabs is a complete calcium reactor set-up. Including:
K2R Calcium Reactor with ARM (with 8 mo old Ehiem circ pump)
5 lb. Aluminum CO2 Cylinder (about 1/2 full)
Milwaukee CO2 Regulator w/Solenoid Diaphragm Valve...
I just removed this unit from my setup and I am trying manual dosing for a while. I am considering going with a automated dosing system.
Just wondering what a used setup like this is worth to the common reefer. I priced everything new and it is over $600, surely I don't expect to collect that...
My father recently had a fire and his tank and equipment were covered, but pets were not. All tank life was considered pets just like his dog and birds. I am not sure about all policies, but some have that fine print.
I have a Sprint Hero phone. Which is an Andriod phone that just came out in Oct. Seems like a decent phone and Sprint data plans are the cheapest among the big carriers.
Can you control seio power heads with the ac jr? I know seio has their own controller but it doesn't allow wave making. The ac jr has a soft start option, will that allow them to start with minimal clanking for wave making?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the info. I run my house pressure at 55psi currently, but I do Have a booster pump if need be. I just don't know what this RO is removing, or it is filtering water that doesn't need filtering. I see it as a wasted expense on filters and media if it isn't doing anything but holding up...
I just bought a house and got away from the city water. My well water goes through a unit to remove the iron and that's it.
The seller was required to have a lab do a well water test, and it looks like they tested for a lot of stuff, and everything came back at or under 0.5ppb.
Am I wasting...
I will throw out a thanks to adesimone1 and ds4x4 for their help in getting my tank moved and plumbed into my basement in record time. Thanks guys, couldn't have done it all w/o ya.
I have it hooked up with my Mag 18 that WAS pumping from the sump in the stand. Now it is all in the basement and the 18 is still getting water to the tank, but not as much as I would like.
Anyone know of any good used pumps that will do the job? I just bought a house and this is low on the...
I am going to plumb my tank into the basement. I am looking for a pump to move about 1000gph+/- when it gets to the tank.
So we are looking at about 10-12 ft vertical, and 3-5ft horizontal, and at least 2x 90 elbows.
Any suggestions? I am more interested in budget than bragging rights...
Stars as like all inverts are very sensitive to changes, so they must be acclimated slowly. If the change was too quick it may still be in shock. But like ds4x4 said, normally stars will stay in the dark.
To see if it moves, add some shrimp pellets or like near him and see if he moves for them.
