Hi all, So I bought a 125 rr from another member a few months ago and it's been sitting in my garage ever since. I went to set it up finally today and noticed that the trim is split / cracked in 2 places. One on the top frame and one on the bottom frame. Does anyone think this is safe to setup?

125 Cracked Brace/Trim, Opinions?!?

I was considering doing that, I could only find a top trim online not a bottom trim. Unless they are the same
I had same problem on two tanks. And repaired them. However. If you can get new trim. That’s the way to go. To repair I clamped all the joints. Flipped the tank and poured epoxy on one of them. And filled the entire joint. Because I figured it would just happen again somewhere else so did whole trim. And it worked. I did second tank with silicone. Well that worked as well. One of them also broke at the cross member on top. Now that’s real bad. Tank won’t hold without it. So I cut a Piece of glass same size across entire brace. And siliconed it in place like euro brace right across the cracked plastic Still using that tank. Stronger than ever.

Definitely the right choice. I tinker all the time. And all my stuff is old, used repaired or modified. But given the option. New is way to go. When you can.
