Everyone’s super happy after a minor water change with some nice reef crystal. Thanks again @mnat for
Coming in clutch, the corals appreciate it. I have dropped my water changes from a 6 gallon water change to a 4 or 5 gallon in attempts to let more nitrates build up. After removing some favias and the massive Hollywood stunner it freed up some nitrates and my sps have gone bonker growing.

I got them ages ago and I believe they were uc nuclear sunset shrooms. Under actinics and orange filter you can get it to look like thier picture. My nitrates are also undetected so they would prob get darker blue with higher . Every so often one looks a little different then the others. One of them has more orange.

Ohhhh the shroom craze,,,,,, was that before the chalice craze or the zoa craze or the scoly craze lmao
Nice with or without a craze lol

it was right around the same time of the zoa craze, i'd say around 2013 was when the shroom craze started really picking up. lol good times.

when was the last NJRC convention at the EXPO center? I remember telling a few members, one of could of been you Rob, lol, to grab this mushrooms from a vendor that had it deeply discounted since I didn't think they knew what they had and thought it was a common shroom at the time.

Deff after the bleeding apple scoly faze , I hated that time period lol.

I would much rather be back in that time period compared to what we have now. cant even get a decent LPS of anything without paying an arm and a leg. you couldn't sell a torch or any type of euphilla that wasn't the black torch or gold at the time for more than $50 a head but even then a gold indo back then was only like $100 per.

In all my years the only swaps I ever have gone to was macna and rap, never made it to any small ones but I heard a lot of little gems were there at good prices. Too bad we aren’t in florida or cali, the high end acros circulate over there in the 50 dollar section of the frag tanks.

Urchins keep spinning the confetti in the hole it is in so I can never get a shot of it in the same spot for comparison, but none the less it is recovering way better then planned after it didn’t like it’s original spot or the dip was too harsh.

Easy come easy go, just like my bounce mushroom that shriveled and vanished but plenty of other shrooms are happy as a clam.
