I was bored and decided to take a few pics of the cube with my camera phone. Enjoy!

Thank you, never really got down how to use my dslr and work the white balance on it however, when I use the yellow polyplab lense the corals colors are as close to my eyes so it’s much easier and more convenient to take and upload pics from the phone nowadays.

A gyre and a Vortech on a 29?
Thats hardcore.
Looks fantastic.
Was considering one of these soon. Are you using the LED version?

They are not jawbreakers it’s a patch of nuclear sunset shrooms.
And yes the more flow the better :) the new 2k gyre was a bit of trouble first setting up and connecting to the WiFi but it’s worth it. And are you talking about the biocube led version? I removed the top as soon as it got my door step and have always had hydras or radions over it.

Over my tank I started with the original hydras, before they went to the 52, and then upgraded to a Radion g4 xr15 pro which was hands down the best upgrade. I then threw on some reefbrites I got from acc to help with the sides of the tanks where I have the frag rack at and it helped with shaded out areas.

In my opinion, do you plan to upgrade the tank any time soon? If you plan on keeping that tank and plan to have at some point clams and would like your corals to get their full available spectrum, the best option in my opinion is to get the aquatic life hybrid fixture. T-5 lighting speaks for itself and has always been the go to for coverage/growth and overall health of an aquarium. They run relatively cooler then halides and they deff have a softer Spector which is very helpful for growing all types of corals, and beautiful Coraline algae’s. In the future if we want a shimmer and want to really make some corals pop you can then buy either kessels, or radions or any other fixture that fits within it. When I upgrade my tank I will play to get the 48 inch fixture and either run radions in the center, or try kessels. If you aren’t growing to much light demanding corals and the tank is wide enough that one works well.
