How's the tank doing? has it cycled?

Thanks for asking, been so involved with work and the tank I haven’t taken the time to post. Tank has been up and running for two weeks. Seems to be fine, still have traces of nitrates and phosphates. All other parameters are 0 and with acceptable range.
Of course it didn’t go without problems. As I mentioned the rock showed before the sand but we got through that. Set the sump up and found the pump I bought didn’t work. Then found out the three LFS don’t stock pumps, only power heads, so I bought a hang on filter while I waited for the new pump. Then it was the attack of the brown algae. The new pump showed up and I got the sump working but somewhere, in all the reading I did, I missed the part about the check valve on the return line. So when I shut the pump down and stopped the overflow to glue some pipe joints I couldn’t figure out why the tank was draining back into the sump. After total panic and cleaning up about a quart and a half of water off the floor the check valve has been installed and tested.
After all that things are working and I’m really excited that the tank is almost cycled. I’ve added some snails and crabs and they are devouring the algae like it was surf and turf.
