sorry to hear about the leak
I went with a giant sump in the basement and have no regrets. It's easy to get to and even easier to maintain. I am happily surprised that after 8 months of I haven't had any leaks yet (knock on something quickly) but if it did leak being in the basement sure helps. The valve at the left lets me direct the output flow to either a filter sock or the refugium. I was definitely not someone known for being very handy (ask my wife) and learned how to do this by reading as much as I could online from sites like this, taking to people at some of the events this site sponsors. Thanks for all the help. Very excited to start into Corals in the 2nd half of 2019.
