AC 3 or ReefKeeper

Going to order a controller ASAP. I have heard a lot of people talk about how they love the ACs but every tank I have actually seen in person minus 1 or 2 has had a reef keeper controller on it. Right now im between the AC 3 or either the Reefkeeper 2 or the elite. Input please

Both controllers are nice if you can also get the RKelite will be much better. I am also in a hunt for one in the future when my third one comes out. Im leaning towards RKE and Profilux controller. Anyway when you get yours update us on it . Goodluck and people who has them will chime in and tell you their own personal experience..

Steve I was thinking the RKElite myself, but wanted some input because I do hear a lot of the ACs but again havent really seen them in use.

I was thinking about both and chose the AC-3 because there are more people in the club and elsewhere who have them. Those people can help you set stuff up and solve problems. I have never owned the RK but I like the AC-3 just fine.

The Junior is a fine controller, but it doesn't do everything that a AC3 can do. It only has 1 PH port, doesn't have an ORP port... there is probably a comparison chart on Neptune for them.

A LOT of people in the club have the Neptune line of controllers from the AC Jr to the AC3 to AC Pro. Jim's reasoning is sound. You'd hear the crickets chirp if you posted a question about your RKE programming on here but if you pose a Q about the AC3 you're going to get answers from lots of folks.

well I ended up going with DAs ReefKeep Elite. Just got it in today and reading through the manual this thing sounds pretty bad a$$. Looks like I got my reading set for awhile, espeically since I went the odd ball route and not with the AC 3 but so far I really like what the RK has to offer. Ill keep you guys posted once I get everything up and running
