Adding sand to established reef

I'm considering adding some white sand on top of my black sand, I'm getting tired of looking at the black. If I use the the Natures Ocean live sand, right on top would that be ok ?? http://www.livesand.com/

I've added sand after the fact and I can't see how having a different color would make it any different.

If you do add, my suggestion would be to use a pipe.  After seeing your tank, maybe 1 1/2 inch or 2 inch pipe that is as long as the tank is deep (and than some).  Pour the sand down the pipe.  This will minimize the sand storm.
