Aiptasia on clam's shell

I know aiptasia will stink other coral but not sure if hurt clam. I found couple aiptasias over the shell of clam and clam attached to big liverock that I can't remove it. any advice to remove it?

very carefully apply caulk paste or a comercially available product like joe's juice on it, apistasia is very comon on new clams and do hurt their mantle...kill them all! ;D If you need to, stop pump circulation for a couple of minutes so the paste stays on the nasty apistasia and doesn't spread to the clam to much. I've done it many times.
