Air stone in standing RO water

Do you think that using an air stone in the unused RO (fresh and saltwater) for air is a good idea? I am thinking about the unused water in the containers in my basement that I would be using as needed for top off and water changes. I am aiming to use all of it in 2 weeks time and keep making fresh water. Will using airstone ith air pump help to maintain the water quality? Is 2 weeks a long time for the water to go bad?

I can use a pump to keep circulating the water, but wanted to get your opinion on using a air pump instead with airstone.

As long as the barrel is covered I don't think you'll need a pump, air or otherwise in the freshwater. But I would use a powerhead to circulate the saltwater.
