algea in overflow boxes

what do you do about algea in the overflow boxes?

I scrub mine with a baby bottle brush and I also have a gun cleaning kit with a cotton swab attatchment I use.

you can also try a plastic scraper, that's what I used to use.

I put a snail in there for a few days.

if is in your overflow box, just leave it there, you cant see it, and works as a water polisher ;D, is like your mini fuge/microfouna for your tank, thats just my .02c
