Long time not talk. LOL
If your wedge pipe is lose get a O-ring on the pipe to keep it from sliding down.
You can all so mod the air inlet tub by cutting it down. It will allow more air draw for better miking.

Daniel, there is a white nylon screw behind the wedge pipe that needs to be tighten in order for it not to become loose.

I'm running one! I was on the waiting list for 3 weeks ;D well worth the wait. This skimmer pulls out a real nasty stuff. I'm waiting on Jeremy to get replacement nozzles before I try the mod. I have mine running at 9" inches of water halfway open.

The Alpha 250 is a beast compare to the ATB skimmer that I had. The only problem that I have is that I'm waiting for my basement to get redone so that I can set up my 210. The Alpha does not fit in my current sump. I might rig something up just to try it on my 90. I know its way overkill but who cares ;D.
