I'm really liking this salt but I'm having trouble finding in in north NJ, does anybody know where in NJ, preferably north NJ, i can find it? I'm tired of paying the extra 30 bucks just for extra weight charges off these websites.
You can ask your LFS to order it thru marineland..
But I must say I used to use it and did some research...
It is the same salt as Red Sea Coral Pro
Made in the same facility Just marketed under a different name.
So I have switched to that salt and have seen identical results for a little less cost... And it is more available at many Good LFS (Ocean Gallery II carries it and If your a member 15% off)
Here's a link: http://www.redseafish.com/Prod283.asp
really? the same salt? ive been told and seen some reviews that the d-dh2ocean pro has more calcium and mag then the coral pro. also you say its made by marineland, but im pretty sure its by deltec.
D-D Aquarium Solution is the main distributor to the US. Marineland is not the distributor for H2ocean salt, there is only 2 US distributors to retail stores and marineland is not one of them. Also Mainedepot is just a retailer not a distributor.
Deltec is the manufacturer and there is differences between H2 and red sea salts. H2ocean levels are close to if not greater than Tropic marin pro salt. So far everyone I've talked too that uses it say they love it and have had great results.
If you really want this salt, you are better off buying it online. Since there are no "local" distributors of this salt it has to be shipped in and would have to be sold at 89-99 per bucket for it to be cost effective.
