Anyone know if Amphipods are a food source for anemones? I have a few bugs cruising around my BTA and one was inside the tentacles of the anemone but seemed to escape without any noticeable harm.

it may have had an exoskeleton too thick for the sting to pierce, or it didnt get stung with enough venom to kill it so it escaped. im sure if you caught that same pod, killed it, and placed it to a tentacle with the flow off, the BTA would grab ahold and eat it.
though nutritionally i suspect the pod is very similar in composition to mysis.
