Asterina star

The coolest thing happened I have these little stars that are not such a nuisance. But I still don’t want them to get all over the place. I woke up this morning to seeing my red star eating them. I think my marine betta is also eating them As well as the bumble bee snails. Basically free food Can’t get better proof then that.

Do you know if all of them eat them or do I have to get a red one because next week I’m getting one. I noticed the harlequin shrimp doesn’t get the all.

I’ve heard that the blue ones also eat. I didn’t expect it to eat it I have it in my tank because it’s a nice red starfish

That is correct. I had a blue linkia that loved munching on the little ones.

I've had asterina since the first tank 4 years ago- never more than a few. I don't know what is keeping them in check- no big stars but I do have brittle stars, I just leave them be
