Ati test result & what now?

I got my test results back this morning. I haven't looked at any remedies yet, but would love peoples input.

I do have some bubble algae & some brown sand, but otherwise my corals are all open, good color, and growth(probably be more with my alk being up lol). Could it be my nitrates are nonexistent?

I'm surprised with my phosphate because I did a hanna test and it came out way higher and assumed thats why I have some bubble algae.
The alk i knew was low from the hanna tester.
The mag, the hanna tester kept reading 1800+ which i knew couldn't be right.

If you have bubble algae I would start with a few emerald crabs as well as slowly getting the alk up to 8-8.5,

Are you doing water changes often? Seems like you are low on a few trace elements that are usually replenished when you do water changes.

You can always dose small amounts of the Red Sea trace program on occasion to help bump those numbers up.

I'm sure you are going to hear someone say dont dose what you can't test but 1ml of iodine (among others) per month isn't going to hurt and will most likely help.

Neonitro and Neophos if you want to increase your no3 and po4 easily and controlled.

I purchased an emerald about a month ago. I did pick up 4 pitho crabs at reefapoolza last week. They had a display with them eating it, so hopefully they go to town.

I have an 80g AIO so I dont know how to calculate how much % the rock & sand take out. However, I do 10 gallons every week & sometimes I'll do 20 gallons. But it gets done every week.

I was looking into redsea B to dose. I see they have a powerder and liquid. I recently purchased an Avast k1 w/ kamoer stp2 that I was going to use for kalk. However, i obviously dont need mag and calc. So maybe i can run that with the powder.

Ill look into the iodine.

Thanks for your help

I think most of that stuff can be addressed with all for reef. I'd do a large water change, buffer up the alk with baking soda and start using all for reef.

All of this except for alk are minor. I wouldn’t mess with trace minerals dosing unless you’re going to test for them. Dose up alk.
do a large water change. And watch the corals.

check out reef moonshiners, they have a calculator you can plug your results into

a quick glance shows low iodine and high aluminum.. you can supplement on iodine and for the alumninum, do some water changes and see if it comes down.. otherwise you may have something leeching in or possibly coming in from a feeding/dosing source
