Atlantis Resort

This past summer I decided to take a vacation to Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas. This place was recommended to me by my cousin who knows that I am obsessed with Reef aquariums. I highly recommend this place to any Reef Keeper. The hotel lobby is submerged in water with tons of marine life swimming past the huge windows. This place is seriously one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Here are a couple of pictures I took. There are hundreds more but I'll post just a few.

This is a picture from the lobby. The shot is taken from above overlooking a restaurant. In the back you can see the huge windows where there are canals of marine life just swimming by.

Just a decorative display in one of the tanks around the resort.

Heh, this Beasty is swimming around the resort freely. He is MASSIVE! The pictures are deceiving. The wingspan on this thing was amazing! He could easily wrap around me several times.

Another window view inside the underground tunnels below the resort. I could have spent the whole vacation right in front of this window.

Thanks for viewing. I can post more pics if anyone is interested. The architecture of the actual hotel was out of this world. This place is great for anyone looking for some fun and adventure.

We had a nice time at Atlantis also - nice shots! Went for the fish, not the casino ... here's a link to our pix:
