I feel like it has been worse recently as well. I have two peppermint shrimp who are on strike as they hang out under a frag rack with aiptasia.

i've tried a few different variations of peppermint shrimp.. none of them helped to eradicate the aiptasia completely.. 2 in a 100g tank

also, if you already have pepper mint shrimp, you'll prob need to remove them before introducing bergia.. that was my mistake last time, i was hoping they wouldnt eat it but the nudia never ended up surviving

Yup that is 100% the reason why. When the Berghia eat the Aiptasia they take on their nematocysts cells and store them to keep predators away. However this doesn't help their cause for things like peppermints who eat Aiptasia.

the site is called salty underground..

I only plan to get 10 of the .25 inch @ 7.99 (Cheapest i've been able to find)
They have
Shipping is $50 though, free shipping starts at $169

Is anyone else interested in doing a group buy?

The other options

Let me know by end of day who is interested!

BERGHIA CAVEAT!

Berghia are often touted as being able to reproduce in your tank, once you've added them, and thus keep their species reproducing and eliminating yet more of your Berghia population. The reproduction is facilitated by the Berghia's duplication efforts, wherein they lay their egg masses in visible spirals. Some Berghia sellers actually go so far as to sell these spirals. DUH, unfortunately for you those lovely spirals will quickly become food for your amphipod and copepod populations. You need a really heavy workaround to keep a Berghia population going forward and reproducing ...

Caveat Emptor...
