I tried this once before with no luck. But since we have so many bird people active lately....
I have a male cockatiel, approximately 20 years old that needs attention. He was adopted for my daughter about 10 years ago, but she is allergic to him and cannot keep him in her room. He was banished to the basement 2 years ago and is not getting the attention he deserves. Part of the banishment is due to the fact that our cocker spaniel puppy is not very gentle with him.
He is finger trained but a bit nippy. If you know how to handle birds he calms down if he gets enough attention.
Also a 10 year old male blue parakeet, never finger trained.
They come with cages and will get a good cleaning before moving day.
No lectures please! I know very well how to care for birds, and argued against adopting these from a friend who grew tired of them.
