BRASS - Boston Reefers Annual Saltwater (October 24)

Boston Reefers Society is hosting an exciting saltwater symposium. This will be a gathering of some of the hobby's most noted speakers, covering topics such as good husbandry, aquaculture, coral propagation and reef preservation. We will also be hosting some of the industry's top vendors. This is certainly an event that should not be missed! Attendees will also have the opportunity to be a part of live demonstrations on proper coral propagation techniques and treating incoming corals for common pests.

Check out the website for more info http://www.bostonreefers.org/BRASS/ we will be updating the site often so check back often

LOL. Very cool, Ed! Give it a whirl, man! I love Boston any time of year. The architecture alone is worth the price of admission. It is such a beautiful city.

One more week before this event guys and gals, get your tickets! Like Greg mentioned, there are still a few rooms available and at the promo price! Hope to see you guys there!

What is disaster!

I love Boston, but the ride up there and back was horrible!!! Nothing but rain!

Then I get there as the doors open for the second day, Saturday, to find two vendors and 5 sales tables there. All the other tables were empty!!! I know that most vendors leave early on the last day of a convention, however, these guys decided not to even show.

The entrance fee was full price to see 1/4 of the show.

Never again, will the Boston Reefers see my face!

Did you go to see the speakers? That was probably going to be the best part of the event! Was the turnout good? What vendors were there? From what I can tell it was only a 1 day conference though, not two. 20$ isn't a whole lot to pay to see 4 industry speakers, even without the vendors.

Of course I saw the speakers! (There wasn't much else to do!) The speakers were great! no complaints about them.

Their event was for two days. Check their web site. The club should have required the vendors show up for at least part of the second day.

The entrance fee was $30 for non members, my wife and I went up in, thats $60! (Plus gas and food!)

I was looking forward to the speakers however, I really wanted to meet reps from the companies I buy from.

Wow, that's too bad. That's a long ride for 2 vendors. Hopefully they were 2 good ones!

I only see October 24th on their website. Which two vendors were there? What did each speaker speak on and how were they?
