Anyone using it? Can someone chime in with their experience? I have been using Tropic Marin Pro and cannot seem to find it at any LFS near me anymore.
I have to make a switch. Any inputs are well appreciated.

Thanks

I haven't tried it yet either but if anyone has please report on it. I am interested in trying it out from the tropic marin pro.

I don't like the smell of that stuff...It has a real bad chemical smell. I have recently switched to Salinity by Seachem. Each batch is lab tested and the results are on the bucket. Other than you have to let it mix for a few days to clear up. I like it...

people raved about brightwell then stopped using it for the most part. and i've heard that Tropic Marin has been hard to get recently. the LFS in DE has tried ordering it for a month with no luck, still waiting on the Bio-Actif to be available too.

I purchased two buckets .Both batches turned the mixing container a nasty brown color.
I have swithed to gettanked salt .
This salt mixes up clear and works for me.

I use the brightwell salt. Bought it cause I couldnt get the Trop Marin pro and was out of salt.

Havent seen any great changes in my tank since using it. Its a bit less expensive then the Trop Marin pro and the LFS actually carries it in stock at most times.

Never had issues with it turning the container brown but I hate the bucket it comes in. Salt isnt bagged like the pro and is a PIA to get it opened up.

Next bucket I will probably go back to the Trop Marin pro if I can find it

The Brightwell salt took a lot of heat on the Chemistry forum on RC when it came out. Seems like the claims on the packaging are impossible to attain and just as impossible to test for.
