Bubble algae question

My small Xenia tank has a bubble algae outbreak, but the emerald is actually doing its job.
I have a few zoa frags in there that I'd like to transfer to another tank.
Lets assume for safety that the frags DO have bubble algae.
Will a coral dip or peroxide bath (or both) make them safe for transfer?
I'm too lazy to read 300 contradicting posts on Google.

If I remember correctly dip won't work. I heard of peroxide for hair algae not sure about bubble.

Manually removing will be your best bet. Just be careful not to puncture the bubbles.

There is no good dip you can do. Manual removal, scrubbing and dipping might help but they are not 100%
