Ca Reactor pH Controller Hookup

Aside from putting a connection in the Ca reactor column to accept the pH probe, how else could I postion the pH probe to measure the pH of the reactor effluent? If you have pics that would help.

Thanks

We have a "cup" strapped to the side of our sump. The "cup" isn't in the water, it is just above it. The PH probe sits in the cup with the effluent hose at the bottom of the cup.

The "cup" is made of a small length of PVC and an end cap. The cup is strapped to a piece of acrylic bent to sit over the edge of the rubbermade stock tank (similar to the ATO.com holder for the ATO bits).

Mike,

You can just use a small plastic measuring cup and wedge the handle on the border of the sump. Drill a large hole on the side facing the inside of your sump about 1 inch from the lip of the cup and place the probe inside the cup. The effluent will fill up the cup and eventually flow out of the hole you make into your sump. Place the cup above a high flow area and you're all set.
