So I've been in the hobby for about 5 years. Started small and have been working my way up each year much to my wife's dismay.
So I started with a 30 gallon rimless from glass cages
After maybe about 6 months I upgraded to a deep blue 30 gallon rimless
Had that tank for maybe a year and knew it was definitely not big enough found a Red Sea Max (66 gallon) . Liked the tank but wasn't a fan of the all in one.
That lasted roughly 6 months, my wife hated the tank so I was like OK another reason to upgrade. I found a Clarity Plus 90 gallon half cylinder. Which my wife loved but I hated. It was 34 inches deep and a pain in the but to clean.
That lasted the longest had it well over a year and half. Great tank just hated cleaning it. Found a guy on Craigslist that wanted to down grade so he had a Auqaveam 180 wave tank. I should have none from the get go I was a bad tank as the whole transaction was a pain in the but. When we got there tank wasn't even taken down and he had someone take care of it for him so he didn't even really know how it came apart. So we spent 4 hours disassembling it when we got it had a patch panel on the bottom. But clearly once I got it setup it cracked from one drain hole to next and leaked. So I figured I was out of the hobby as I just traded my tank away and have a broken one
So we come to what I have know which is a Cadlights Artisan II 125. It has a custom metal stand that I orgianlly skinned in Oak plywood but a buddy of mine does wood pallet accent walls and was like man I can make ur stand look amazing. Filtration is supplied my the skimz UP39 sump. Bubble magnus curve 5 skimmer, ecotech vectra L1, lighting is supplied by 2 Radion XR30 pros and one XR15 pro
