i have a 65 for about 3-4 months now. I was wondering if it is necessary to dose with calcium or any other chemicals. I only have lps. any info regarding this would help. thanks

First things first, have you tested the calcium level in your tank yet?
Pick up a good calcium test kit (I use Salifert) and test your levels before you dose anything.
I find with my tank most of my parameters stay pretty close to acceptable ranges with minimal water changes, and I don't dose anything at the moment. As the tank matures, that may change, but for now that is the case.
