Calcium reactor?

Sup everyone,i have a 20gal high and am tired of dosing. Was thinking of getting a calcium reactor soon, anyone know of any good ones for such a small tank?Is it even a good idea to get one for a 20gal.?

what are you dosing? 2 part? Kalkwasser? 20 is a little small for a Calcium reactor in my opinion, but if you're planning on getting a bigger tank in the future, it would be something I would contemplate on

I was told not to get a calcium reactor for anything under a 180 gallon tank. I have one running on my 72 gallon. Works fine. The biggest problem I have is the PH is alway low. Now, I have to add a Kalk reactor. So if you are thinking about getting a CA reactor and still do not want to dose to keep the PH up, than you will also need a dosing pump or a Kalk reactor for the PH.

Ill tag along for this. I have a 30 breeder going to a 40breeder and was lookin to find a Calc reactor that was smaller and not crappy.

By the way Merv, Are you a dude who looks like another dude whose playing another dude whose acting like another dude?

Tank small like that just manually dose it .. I dont think your demand will be that much high as you can only put so much in there..

Actually, the dude next to me is the dude who does not look like the dude that the dude was trying to look like which is not the dude in real life. I'm the middle dude who looks like the dude who is trying to play the dude which really never happened to the dude in real life.

and yes, pH will be a major concern with a smaller tank, so you'll eventually have to dose kalk to bump the pH back up anyways (esp since you're trying not to dose.

When i was running one my 34 gallon i had it connected to my ac jr. and it was set to close the solenoid when the ph dropped below a set point. That worked out pretty well to prevent ph from dropping too low.
