Calling all carpenters

I am building a stand for my 20 tall but I need to fit a 10 gal sump underneath.
I want to have a front and side door with an opening in the pack for plumbing.
Do youthin 3/4" plywood would hold up to the weight. It will be 30" tall with the tank set into the top

aren't you building some sort of frame? you could use 2x3's for that. that's not alot of weight..a 20. it's barely 200 pounds on top. and another 60 or so pounds underneath. i'd use a 2x3 stick frame and 1/2" plywood.

Did you build your stand? If so how did it come out, pics? I built mine out of 3/4" hardwood plywood and it solidly holds a 65 gallon. No need for 2X framing if done right.

You might want to use this as an idea. maybe built the same frame and then just get the plywood to cover around it. you should be able to this yourself if your a handy type of guy. Also u could use a pre-made cabinet for from HD or Lowes and use with it. Hope it helps.....
