Camera suggestion or past experiences

My wife's birthday is coming up next month and all she wants a is a simple to use, small, sleek, camera. Does anyone own any of these, likes, dislikes... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...t04001+pcmcat99000050006&id=pcmcat99300050007
I myself would prefer to get her a slr as it's much more practical ;D but it's her day not mine any suggestions would be great.

I also have good results with the Connon Power Shot. It's easy to use and has a Macro setting.

Point n shoot? Bahhhhhhhhh. You can't take great pictures of fast moving kids with a point n shoot! I say get her a D200!

I know a lot of Mom's that have a Canon Powershot ELPH and love it. It's small enough to fit in your pocket and fast enough to get shots of their kids in action.
