Can i sump????

I had to start tank over. Got everything going Ang my sump cracked. Tank has been going for 2 1\2 weeks. Bare bottom and dry rock. Used instastart, feeding and a dirty filter sock to start. Amonia and nitrite rising. Can I put new sump in now with new water or do I have to wait until cycling is complete.

Take the sump off line...maybe put a heater up in the DT, and switch out the sump.....no problem.

Just replace it and add new water if needed, it's not the water that has to be seeded, it's the rock.
