I do and I am happy with what I got. Upside is price, function, customer service/customization, and warrentee. Downside bulbs that come with it are not great. I wish it was a little wider.
It is great that it comes with bulbs and with its price it buys you some time to upgrade the bulbs. The moonlights are actually awesome. Also has three plugs so you can control sunrise and the moonlights are controllable for lunar cycles. Made in USA and Jim will customize what the unit the way you like, very nice guy. Donated bunch of stuff last year to our frag swap too.
Downside is that the fixtures look great but could be a bit wider. Think it would improve the coverage in the tank(though the way I have mine setup it is perfect). Again the bulbs leave a bit to be desired and I am rotating them out.

Tell you about it when its delivered, 48 inch Solar HO T-5. SUPPOSE to ship last Thurs, but got lost and shipped today after 3 calls to them! The good part- $190.00 covered product and shipping and they threw in a hanging kit and legs, cool. Perhaps they could be approached as a sponsor, (HINT HINT). Ask for Jim or Cindy.

Im joining you guys on this one, im setting up my 36/36/13 tank and i think this might be the way to go,
I cant find any 36 inch 8 bulb t-5 fixtures. ATI is way to expensive, does any of yours have fans?
The 8 bulb is 18 inches wide, so if i get the legs a little high i can def cover the whole tank.

Does your fixture get hot? like MH hot?

mine has a fan,and vents gets heat but nothing like MH.

I talked to Jim today on my lunch break. I got a great quote on some different fixtures. He is way lower priced than anywhere else. And since he is building it from scratch, you can order it exactly how you want it.
