Ceramic Shaft for SWV 160

A couple days ago the ceramic shaft on my SWV 160 broke in 3 pieces.

In looking for a new one, I found a couple places that have them in stock for around $20 which sounds right. Where I have a problem is the $15-$20 these places are charging for shipping.

Does anyone know of any local stores that may carry these?

Arnie, I have a spare I could loan you until the next group buy or when you find one locally. This way you could be back in business quick.

Hey Paul,

Thank you for the offer. While I was searching for the replacement I found out that its actually very common for people to use the carbon fiber rods (.125) from hobby shops. I figure I can get up an running on this and see how it goes. Since you have the same skimmer I'll keep ya updated on what I find.
