Chipped glass - safe?

I have been thinking about either selling my old 50 or setting it up for freshwater. Took a look at it today, and noticed this:

The chip is loose, attached to the silicone, and pretty deep. I'm not sure when it happened, although I don't think it's recent. I haven't leak tested the tank, but I did use it as a transfer tank when I moved my 110 into the wall, and it was full for a couple of days. I'm thinking that even if it was fine then, it's going to be prone to failure in the future, and I should just chuck it. Thoughts?IMG_20200125_104201.jpgIMG_20200125_104209.jpg

The pretty deep comment makes me pause. Even if it holds, it’s a risk for anything in the tank, and the surrounding room. Good luck either way!
