Cleaning PH Probe

My PH probe has some white dots all over it. Is it OK if I put it in vinegar?

Use lemon juice......

Vinegar is fine, it won't hurt it. You only really care about the round ball tip at the end. Dip the end in vinegar for 10 minutes, then use a soft toothbrush to clean to gently clean the ball end. Then recalibrate whatever it is attached to (Pinpoint controller, Aquacontroller, etc)

You can damage it using a brush, soak in lemon juice and no brushing needed. You can also store using lemon juice.
