I use KZ Coral snow every day for the past 10 years. Love it. Water is clear

You can make your own for cheaper. I plan to do so once I finish all my bottles.

I do a DIY version.....because it's simply Calcium Carbonate. HERE is where I got my last order from. I do it after every water change (twice a month), after lights go out.

I looked for Flocculant on-line but just see items for your pool. Where do you buy this to make coral snow?

I too have been using it for a few months. I gave it a shot since I had a conversation with Joe aka Tusi Reef aka the guy who works with Sandler. So far so good. I dose 5-8ml 2x a week.

Mine will be here tomorrow. I think I’m gonna add reef Roids as well as Microbacter 7. Curious to see how it works. Let us know your results

So here it is. 600 ml solution with Microbacter 7 and reef Roids.
Reef Roids are to feed corals on tank. Read that the adding coral food will benefit your filter feeding corals

Well, nothing significant here. Water looks about the same. I guess this is to be expected, let’s see what happens with regular usage. Anyway, here’s the deets on the start of this journey;I dosed 10ml to my roughly 80g system. This was after a 16g wc, no blowing off rocks or sand bed cleaning. Dosed at 6:30 last night, turned off my return pump and waited about 45min before restarting. When I got up this morning at 9:00 the water was cleared of the snow. No cloudiness and I do not run a skimmer. I thought I might have a longer clearing time because of this but no. So, no negative affects to report and will have to add it to the routine and see.

I know it’s only day one but tank looks really clear and sandbed has no signs of cyano. I know the cya o process can take longer but usually in the morning I see small signs of it on the sandbed. So far none. I’m sure it’s not totally eradicated but I do see an improvement.
