Not to much info on forums about them. So here is a list of common bad hitch hikers. Please add


Bad

Gorilla
- there are many types

Xanthid - have black tips on their claws and can be hairy. Would eat fish if given the chance.

Sally Lightfoot - cleans sand and rocks of detritus, algae and left over food. When it becomes large, it will kill and eat your fish and inverts.

The Mithrax crabs (Emerald crab) are considered reef safe. But a member of the Mithrax family that aren’t reef safe look like this:

Teddy Bear crab- looks like it's covered in fur.

Portunid crab (AKA swimming crab and Blue crab). It can swim...note the paddle it has for the last set of legs
