These things appeared an took over the whole tank in about 4 days. What are they? did anyone else have them? how do I get rid of them?

they are pineapple sponges. i have them all over my sump but not in my display tank. some fish like to eat them but i'm not sure which ones. they are harmless filter feeders. they pull nutrients out of the water. i wouldn't worry about it.

cool thanks, I transfering my lice rock back to my new tank and wanted to make sure that it wouldn't damage things
