I know these are kind of "duh" questions but I need to be sure.
As you might know, i'm setting up an Oceanic 58. I have had a 20L set up in my kitchen since I brok down the 75 last year. It houses some fish and a decent amount of live rock.
I still have all the sand from my DSB that i had in my 75. It's in an open rubbermade bin that's been by the shed since I took the 75 down. I plan on rinsing the hell out of it and using a couple of inches for the 58.
I guess my question is if I can just add everything from the 20L right into the 58 with the new water/sand and not worry about a cycle? I would think that the water and rock alone would be enough to seed the new system.
