Well I didn't have much choice, he was tearing my tank apart. Killed all my snails, especially my huge nassarius escargot, and I suspect him of losing 3 pepermint shrimp and possibly my clam. 
. He was also stealing my frags, I found 4 of my frags in his "lair" and he pulled a 3" rock with a large Gorgonian on it from one side of the tank to the other. So I had enough. he was was cornered in a rock with only one way in, so I moved a bunch of rock and got him out. Some may not like it, but he is now in crab heaven, or maybe hell ! This was one mean crab, but I'll sleep better now
