Diseased tank

Hi every6,
I’m hoping someone can help. I have a 55 gallon mixed reef tank. I purchased a blue hippo from petco that had black spot disease. They told me he had been dipped for a few weeks and he was fine. He was eating very well the first 10 days then I noticed the black spot was coming back. He passed along with 98% of my other fish. What can I do to get rid of this in the tank and add new fish? I did 2, 20% water changes, one on Friday and one yesterday.

Treat any remaining fish outside the system in a qt tank,and leave the tank without fish for 60 days

I would go longer, full 90 days. This sounds like black ich, ich has survived 60 days follow period.

Unfortunately I dont have a quarantine tank, my space is limited,. I thought there might be a treatment out there that someone has tried with success . I will keep an eye on the rest of my fish but I will not be getting any more for a long time. Thanks for the info

I would pull fish and treat while leaving tank fallow for couple months.

What fish are still in there?

Sorry to hear this. I am curious which Petco you went to as the ones I know don't treat the tanks for any disease.
