K here goes. I bought the 5 pack of Husky LED flashlights from Home Depot over the winter, they should still be around, but I only paid 17 for them during some winter sale. At the time, I was still working as a tech for BMW, so it couldnt hurt to have backups. Besides, each light was like 2.25, how can you go wrong. So I have a few laying around. 1 crapped out, so I unscrewed the lid of the light, and saw the ground wire was broken, luckily at the housing. I remember my old ipod charger, worthless since gen 2;s dont accept generic chargers. Cue light bulb slowly brightening. Hacked the plug on the charger, cut wires on the flashlight, hooked them up, boom. 7 LEDs in a 2inch circle.
Needing to minimize footprint of the light, it fits snugly between the two power wires of my 24 nanocube DX, in the rear of the hood, behind the acrylic cover, and shines directly over my middle chamber. I can do a whole writeup if you needed. Pics to come, I ordered another hood and will be doing a cleaner install on that.
