DIY Moonlights Install Tek Light 6x54w 36 L.E.D.s

For everyone who has a tek light and wants moonlights I have just modified mine to have moonlights installed after 1yr of contemplating on how to due them w/o effecting performance of lights...
I ordered a 40" 36 l.e.d from a online company and installed them by cutting my 3rd refelector where it meets the 4th reflector with a dremel. I bent the reflectors so the 3 and 4th bulb still have individual reflectors just a little more enclosed then the others, and the heat from t5's will be dispersed away from leds. I mounted the led strips (20" 18leds- wire -20" 18leds) in the center of the light where i cut the reflectors with a little bit of reef crazy glue cause i had it on hand but if you want you could use zip ties or strong double face tape sure it will work. I have the acrylic sheild on my setup so if glue doesn't hold, then it will not fall into water. My moonlights have a dimmer option so if its too brights i can always turn it down.
- Now that is where i choose to mount leds but if you want im sure that you can pick a different spot to put leds (for example: in between 2nd and 3rd light).. i will post some led pictures tonight but for now here is a pic of light with leds installed.. for any questions or misunderstanding please pm me .. Below are leds on two different settings low and high. I will post more pics tonight..

Here are some night pics taken from my iphone so clarity isn't that well.
12v power source was a little to bright for my liken so i dimmed the leds down to 6v. these pics are taken under 12 volts of power..

sorry for the delay i have been trying to sign on njreefers on my iphone and couldnt get on. The total cost was probally $50 shipped that was the 40" 32 blue leds with dimmer from:
Leds $35
Dimmer $5.50 (they provided)0v-12V I run mine on 6v
Grazy Glue $1.00

I didn't know if i was allowed to post the link from leds. if it gets banned then i will pm it to anyone who is intrested. If anyone has a tek light and wants to swing by to check it out pm me. I have alot of trimming on my sps to do.

Thanks for that link. Something for me to think about because I think that the 4 LED's built into my fixture jsut don't cut it.
