Do I need to be concerned? - Dendrophyllia

I have one of these dendro's (pic is just a general pic, not mine)...but looks like mine....I have a large single polyp...one that has budded on the left side adn what looks to be like a newly forming bud on the right side....I just noticed that it's tenticles are all pulled in and it is spitting out a white cloud like substance....looks just like oyster feast, actually......should I be concerned?...doesn't seem to be making the zoas or other corals nearby close or react

any help would be appreciated

in any case...I didn't do anything and all appears to be back to normal now..thank you anyway

i have a dendro and have never witnessed anything like this. keep us posted if anything changes... good luck

no need to worry this is a normal process. If nothing is bothered by it leave it alone.

i would feed that dendro more than oyster feast. meaty foods. mysis, silverside, chopped fresh clam, shrimp, stuff like that.
