Drilling Vertical Glass

I need to drill a hole in an existing sump. I’m installing an external pump for the skimmer and I need a hole in a vertical piece of glass. No problem with pulling the water out of that section of the sump to drill. The issue is keeping the bit wet while I drill. Has anyone done this, and what did you do to keep the bit wet and cool. I have some ideas, but I’d prefer to hear the real thing.

I just used some painters tape and make a u shaped resivor..
Add had a spray bottle of water to keep spraying the bit and hole...
You really dont need that much water anyways... I guess about 8+ ozs depentant on how thick the glass is....,,
good luck and keep her level and straight!!!!
