Eagle Eyes not opening

I have this huge (100+ polyp) colony of eagle eyes that I got about 8 months ago and the tings were doing great. Well about 3 days ago they will not open on me at all. I get about 10 polyps open and nothing else. Thought maybe something picking on it, been checking the tank but nothing. Still in same spot. Along side it are my Tubs blues, Red Thunders and another colony of red and greens and they are all fine, all open and happy.

Any ideas?

I've heard (and am NO expert) that a Lugol's dip can help zoos perk back up again. Can anyone corroberate that?

And the melting begins. I pulled out the colony to look at it and saw what appeared to be a mat of whitish looking algae. Pulled it off and under it were dead zoos. Only 6 opening up on a colony of like 75+. So what now? Anyone try anything that works. Appears my over skimming and carbon use may be stripping my water clean, good for sps, bad for zoas.
