Hey guys, I’m gonna be honest. I know his prices are on the higher side but it’s because he buys in stores only not from hobbyists.
If you are interested in anything, PM me a price that you are okay paying for!! He’s trying to move this quick now and I rather a hobbyist to have this corals then him donating it.
There are some nice pieces here!!
If I do not respond right away, it’s because I am out of the hobby right now, so please understand, I’m gonna try to check one or two times a day until he finish selling everything
Thanks for looking in

Hey can I have yours or his number? Interested in a good amount of coral
Well where’s he located? I don’t feel like driving that far nor spending that much just as him where he is at and home much for like 5 assorted corals and the chiller

There’s a reason this dude can’t get rid of his stuff… guy says he had a tank crash due to floods tank is falling to way side and stuff is dying/will die and is still commanding top dollar almost more than retail stores and won’t separate the coral to save them…

Literally told him I’ll take the coral and whatever needs to be saved off his hands.

He has been trying to sell the whole setup in one shot for sometime with no luck and won't part out. Not sure why he feels you had an attitude as the screenshots posted did not come across that way to me.
I do know having a flooded house and not being able to live in it is very stressful so maybe that is what's going on.

I ended up picking up a friend and making the near hour trip each way to make an offer on a few corals I have been meaning to pickup. I figured a way for me to help out, while grabbing some things I have wanted.
I was not looking for free corals by any means. I had written E-Rod and then Mark himself about the leather that appeared to be a Fiji Yellow and the small Rainbow Chalice. I pulled $400 to bring with me, and was hoping to at least walk away with those 2 corals, and anything else I could get thrown in.
Sadly the rainbow chalice was unable to be found and the yellow Fiji leather was non-existent.

Meanwhile, I brought my buddy who was looking to add another tank. the tank itself is a basic 90 gallon Reef Ready with corner overflow.
You can tell he put lots of effort and money into the system over time. He is a nice enough guy and he does still have great fish!

Sadly, after that July 3rd Micro Burst/Tornado he had a water breach in his basement and it actually compromised the sump system water with external ground /rain water into his sump in the basement, probably lowering the salinity/ALK of the system. Sadly the corals are no longer in the shape Eric posted originally.
So as I mentioned to Eric as well, Mark had lost/is loosing a lot of corals due to the Salinity/probable ALK swings, and large aptasia are doing a number on several of the other LPS/SPS.
Mushrooms and Zoas/Palys still all look solid.

Not sure of the age of the Tank, Stand, and Hood, but he has 2 older XR15 and an XR30 on it, but Gen2.
The sump is a large acrylic sump with x-large skimmer. You can tell the RODI unit needs new filters/DI Resin. Connected to the sump is a brute full of live rock for extra biological filtration, which is a plus.
Rock isn't cheap. He also has a Chiller to include, which is nice.

The money is in the Fish and Corals, Chiller, Light, Sump/Skimmer and rock.

He was asking $3,000 for all, which is a bit high in my opinion, but if someone wants to reset it back up, grab some berghia nudibranch and let them clear the auptasia before adding the wrasses back, it could be a great set up with nice lights good filtration. Honestly he is not too far off on the used tank, equipment, lights, rock, chiller, and livestock...but do to the hit on the condition of the corals, he should probably be asking closer to $2k now.

My buddy picked up a newer, much larger tank, with lots of extras...so he is passing.
Hopefully it all finds a home soon...

Eric, as I said flooding a house sucks and stressful but I get him 100%. But if needs to rebuild his house he has to part out, recoup what he can and move on. Or drop the price significantly. A Dr. office will not take a system that large.

But but but… it’s 25000 worth of equipment! And a bunch of dead/dying coral! Surely it’s worth top dollar even more than he paid. All jokes aside the equipment I saw pics of didn’t even look like 3k new so this guy is a grade A clown in my opinion. I just wanted to save some coral throw him a bone along the way same with you.

So you are Ryan haaa!! Marck told me wonders about you lol

Hey guys, I apologize I didn’t know about his flooring situation or the condition of the system as he told me it was running normally.
Eric and I spoke about it yesterday and he explain what was going on to me.
I have to update this in Manhattan reefs as well
