Excited on new purchase (Fish)

I pick this guy up on Tuesday from friends shop. Was suppose to be delivered Friday but weather was too cold. Now he will be here on Tuesday. I never had a puffer fish and heard they are pretty smart. Was originally going to get a Valentini, but my friend talked me into this guy. A blue spotted puffer

I see they are reef safe with caution. Did your ever nip at anything? I plan on keeping in my smaller reef tank that no longer has shrimp so no worries there.

They did eat small snails and may have nipped at my nepthea. I had a filefish which also nips soft coral so not sure one did.
