If you are, and you want to expand your zoo (or start a new one), let me know.
Looking to re-home a male panther chameleon, with all equipment.
Must be experienced with reptiles, this is not a starter animal.

Got a few questions regarding reasons.

My son was very into reptiles as was his younger sis. They both begged for a chameleon. Did about a year’s research, spoke to tons of people, got the enclosure together and all the gear, then ordered from a breeder. Sure enough, within 2 months kids lost interest, but he and I were semi-buds.

At the moment we’re working 6 days a week and potentially looking to move given the right circumstances. With the workload were starting to decrease attention on him, which is unfair, and if we have to move quick, to a planned smaller ranch, there may not be space.

We’re actually trying to get down to just 1 reef tank - in the office. Our IM 30 with full gear is for sale, and the chameleon is up for adoption with habitat, misters, etc for free to an experienced home.

Haven't gone outside the forum yet, and probably wont. If no interest here may go to local exotic vets and ask about potentials.

Awesome, I had a panther chameleon years ago in college. One of the coolest reptiles I've had. Used to call him Mittens. lol

How old is the little guy? Any pictures?

I am in a similar boat with a leopard gecko. My kid lost interest within a few years. If anyone wants to adopt something smaller, drop me a note.

Years ago my son's turtle needed blood work, several hundred $ and I just laughed at the vet and told him that's more than my car payment.
So no blood work; gave us some meds and all was good.
