False perculas attacking my sand sifting starfish

Has anyone ever seen or heard of this. I have 2 false perculas that both hosted with my bta. Anytime my sand sifting starfish gets anywhere near their territory they viciously attack it, I think they even tried to feed it to the anemone once. I had to pull the star fish out of the anemone. Luckily it survived. I don't see anything anywhere about clowns and starfish not getting along. The clowns don't attack anything else in the tank, just the star.

clowns get nasty when ever something/one gets close 2 their host nem.mine bite me and go crazy at the magnet when i clean the glass he just attacks it like mad kinda funny.
